So, this time around we rambled a little loosely around UBB (Usage based billing), a CRTC ruling that was throw out earlier this year as it clearly kills the independent internet providers ability to compete with Rogers, Bell, Shaw and Telus. The involved parties are currently in discussions with the CRTC around new ways to charge for internet usage (fair and competitive ways). We’ll have to wait and see what happens.

We made quite a few suggestions as to how you can cut the cord… well not literllay. Some of you still subscribe to broadcast television, we go over the in short the services we currently use to get content (some are grey in legal means). I go over the “it’s too much work” arugment that people use to avoid the superior online alternatives.
